About us

artacks was founded in 2008 to promote «Urban Art». We provide young and promising artists with challenging platforms to exhibit their works. Moreover, artacks’s ambition is to invigorate the public image of «Urban Art».

We offer people the possibility to experience young art beyond common conventions. Our goal is to ease the understanding of aspiring art forms, which have been only marginally represented by the established art scene up to now. Be it illustration, graphic design, comic, graffiti or street art – the visual culture of urban space is hungry to be properly acknowledged.

Our projects are of temporary nature and fit the inherent dynamics of urban art. They are vivid and agile instead of rigid and stiff. artacks is constantly on the move to overcome distances, cross borders and make the art scene street-suitable.
